What's in a name?

I am often asked where the name Marmaduke Designs came from, well...Marmaduke was the name of a pet Crested Gecko I had when growing up. Although we had other animals including two dogs, a Bearded Dragon, 2 Leopard Geckos, a tortoise and a dozen goldfish, Marmaduke was a bit of a character. Early in his short life, he developed a chronic case of glaucoma in one of his eyes causing his it to balloon to an unusually large size. If you look at one of my early logos, you will see the silhouette of him.
